Support literacy and youth education and stock your own library at the same time!
This brand-new issue of Cottonwood, a journal produced by the Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Kansas University, contains 14 stories and poems, one of which is my story, “The Secretary of Groveland.” This is a story of an undervalued teacher. It’s a story of urban flight, vanishing literacy, and a rare connection between teacher and student.
As a contributor, I’ll order the issue at a reduced rate, ship it to you, and pass the savings on to my local library, Kingston Public Library. With every purchase, I’ll give $2 to the Children’s Library’s Super Saturday program, which brings educational programming to kids in Midtown Kingston.
